Single Equalities Policy

The Trust’s approach for promoting equality takes high priority in our policies and procedures and, most importantly in our day-to-day practices and interactions with the whole school community.

Our Single Equality Scheme Framework includes our whole Trust – pupils, staff, governors, parents and carers and all those within our extended school community.

The framework integrates our statutory duties in relation to the nine areas of discrimination, underpinning our Trust priorities and actions to eliminate discrimination and harassment for these equality areas. :-

  • age
  • disability
  • gender reassignment
  • pregnancy and maternity
  • race
  • religion or belief
  • sex
  • sexual orientation
  • marriage and civil partnership
