Central Trust Team

The Consortium Multi Academy Trust has a strong team of central staff readily able to support and assist our schools at every level, including our Education and Learning team who oversee and support monitoring and assessment, data analysis as well as curriculum development and innovation; early years foundation stage specialists, SEND Coordinator, supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities, guidance and support relating to attendance and conflict resolution, an Finance & HR Department who oversees and support academy funding and finance, payroll, HR, income generation and auditing. The Trust also offers a central P.E. & Outdoor Learning Team, offering a variety of curriculum P.E. and extended school activities services to trust and other local schools.

In addition, our Facilities & Compliance Department oversees the health and safety and premises of our schools; our Business Support assists the CEO and organisational administration for the Trust, with our CPD department developing our professional development and training offer.  We also provide Clerking to some of our LCs and hope to expand this service further.

Kathy Brooke - Trust Lead SENDCo

Kathy joined the Trust as Lead SEND Coordinator, working across our schools by supporting the identification of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)

Kathy's role includes co-ordinating provision for children with SEND, liaising with parents of children with SEND, liaising with other providers, outside agencies, educational psychologists and external agencies, ensuring that the school keeps the records of all pupils with SEND up to date.

Kathy qualified as a teacher in 1996 and has taught in primary and secondary schools in London and Suffolk. She has extensive experience of working in local authorities, arrangeing provision and support for children with special educational needs and disabilities. Kathy's passion lies with working with small community schools, where she can help ensure all children reach their potential.

Tina Flanigan, Property Advisor

Tina began her career as a Mechanical Engineer and has gained vast experience in a number of sectors and is NEBOSH qualified. 

As Property Manager, Tina supports the Trust with the estate management of its schools.

Kevin Firman, Senior Estates Assistant

Kevin joined the Trust from his previous role as Interim Site Manager for the Yoxford, Middleton, Bramfield & Peasenhall Schools Federation and .has previously worked within the NHS as a multi skilled craftsman and electrical and maintenance foreman.

Kevin supports the Facilities Manager as Senior Estates Assistant, managing the Trust schools with refurbishments, new projects and estate management.

Matt Holzer, Estates Assistant

Matt joined the Trust in October 2017 to provide additional support to the Estates Team.  Matt is a qualified Engineer and has worked across a number of sectors in previous careers.

Judy Pymar, Senior Finance Officer

Judy has worked within education for 17 years, and  prior to being appointed at the Trust, was  School Business Manager for the Bramfield &  Middleton, Yoxford & Peasenhall Schools  Federation.  

Judy supports the finance team with the Trust's  financial responsibilities and our schools  with budget monitoring and financial  management.

Lisa Jones, Senior Audit Officer

Lisa joined the Trust after many years with Schools Choice as an Enhanced Finance Team Leader, supporting local authority and academy schools with their financial management and audit requirements to ensure efficiency and compliance.  She went on to support local authority schools through the process of conversion to academy, ensuring staff were trained in their new responsibilities and strong financial practices were in place.

Lisa’s role incorporates that of the CFO ensuring the Trust meets its audit and financial compliance obligations.

Kirsten Ward, PA to the CEO & Business Support

Kirsten joined the Trust from her role as School Business Manager for The Kingfisher Schools Federation, which incorporated Barnby & North Cove and Southwold Primary Schools. 

Kirsten assists Andrew in his role as CEO & Principal and supports the Trust with a variety of aspects including organisational and compliance matters, recruitment, events, marketing and meetings.

Laura Rogers, CPD Assistant

Laura joined the Trust from her previous role as Recruitment Business Partner for Greene King.

Laura's role at the Trust is supporting the development and accreditation of the Trust's CPD Courses and Staff Training and developing the Trust's own SCITT programme.

Colin Clarke, PE & ODL Instructor

Colin is a fully qualified lifeguard, shooting and archery instructor, as well as being a local scout leader for 5 years, which has enabled him to develop his outdoor teaching skills.

Colin enjoys seeing young people reach their full potential in developing key life skills such as teamwork, initiative, and self confidence.

Colin's hobbies include archery, biking, camping, swimming and spending time with his young family.

Cameron Hopkinson, PE & ODL Instructor

Cameron has been interested in sports for his entire life with his main sport being swimming and was a county swimmer for a number of years. Cameron currently is also a volunteer scout leader.
Throughout his life Cameron has enjoyed taking part in a number of different sports such as windsurfing, fencing, trampolining and sailing. I am currently taking my Level Two Sports Coaching Qualifications.
