Training & Skills Partnership

Consortium Multi Academy Trust values our staff; current and new, we see ourselves as a lifelong learning community.  Only when our staff are invested in, will we truly unlock their potential and those of the children and communities that we serve.

The Trust strongly believes that we have a responsibility beyond our own schools to play a 'system leadership role' in training and skills beyond our own sphere of responsibility and will work with a range of partners through our Training and Skills Partnership (TSP).

Consortium Multi Academy Trust currently provides range of school based CPD staff training; we are a member of the CPD Association and deliver several CPD accredited courses.  Our partnership working with City College Norwich provides apprenticeships and our new centre for primary Initial Teacher Training based at Rendlesham Primary School is an affiliate of SCITT.

Our Training and Skills Partnership (TSP) is currently discussing further opportunities with the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), as well as colleagues in the secondary, tertiary and voluntary sectors.

The TSP has a robust Board of the following educationalists and we will be pleased to announce further Board members in due course:-

Andrew Aalders-Dunthorne, CEO Consortium MAT

Clare Jones, CEO Diversa MAT (Norwich)

Dr Sally Wilkinson, School Centred Intitial Teacher Training (SCITT)

Debbie Thomas, Academy Head Rendlesham Primary & Intitial Teacher Training Leader

Ed Rose, City College Norwich, Apprenticeship Program

Pete Smith, Deputy Headteacher and Teaching School Lead, Farlingaye and Kesgrave Teaching School

Mary Gleave, College on the Coast (Leiston)
